I was honored to be 50th representative of India in JAL Scholarship Research Program 2019. This program was one of the greatest experiences of my life so far.
The main theme of the program was the study of natural disaster, steps to minimize them in the future and for achieving the'Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , what we can do for the next generation.
As a part of the program, I got a chance to study about United Nations SDGs 2030 alongside like minded representatives from all over the world. As research students, we studied and discussed how small steps by individuals can make a big difference in creating a sustainable society.
Studying, working with scholars from various countries has given me a new perspective to look at environmental, economic, geopolitical happenings around the world.Thank you Japan Airlines, JAL Foundation for such an illuminating, knowledge enriching experience.
I look forward to apply the knowledge I have gained through this research program and contribute these efforts towards sustainable development.
