Shahid Kapoor has been on a roll with ‘Farzi’ and ‘Bloody Daddy’ being one of the biggest releases of the year. The actor was recently spotted sporting a new look which reminded fans of ‘Haider’. Now, in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Siddharth Roy Kapur has confirmed that they will begin shooting with Shahid for their next October.
SHAHID TO BEGIN SHOOT FOR A NEW FILM
When asked about their upcoming lineup, Siddharth mentioned, “We begin shooting with Shahid Kapoor this October. It’s an untitled film and is an exciting action thriller.” The new look sported by Shahid currently is for the untitled action thriller, which will see him play a rebellious police officer. It is set in the heartland of India and will involve a lot of action.
ABOUT THE UNTITLED FILM
The untitled movie will be directed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for Malayalam blockbusters like ‘Salute’ and ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’. The Shahid Kapoor-starrer is looking at a 2024 release.
As per the brief given about the movie, the untitled film is about a “brilliant yet rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path.”
Shahid had mentioned that he is very excited to work on the movie. The actor has a film with Kriti Sanon releasing in December as well. The Maddock film will see him in a different avatar.
