Battlestar Galactica has a new home: Hulu.
The streaming company has acquired the beloved sci-fi drama, as well as Saved by the Bell and 12 Monkeys, as part of a deal with Universal Cable Productions, it was announced Thursday.
Other new shows coming to the site include Bob the Builder, Thomas and Friends and Barney.
The addition of 12 Monkeys comes ahead of the Syfy drama’s second-season premiere on Monday, April 18.
Battlestar Galactica, which ran for four seasons on Syfy, was previously available to stream on Netflix until the entire library was removed in late 2014. Like 12 Monkeys, the series was a remake. But while 12 Monkeys was originally a 1995 film starring Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, the first Battlestar Galactica ran on ABC from 1978 to 1979.
Saved by the Bell, which also continues to air in syndication, ran on NBC from 1989 to 1993. It joins an increasing group of high school-set series on Hulu, including Beverly Hills, 90210. Hulu has made a big strides in recent years to compete with Netflix’s growing library of bingeable TV series such as Breaking Bad and Gilmore Girls. Other recent Hulu acquisitions include cult favorites Party Down and Happy Endings, among others.
