I read only a few lessons of this book but I guess I can say it is a good one, specially if you’re okay with the traditional learning style and also learning at a snail-speed, which I wasn’t because I’m impatient to hit some mangas! That’s why I moved on and watched JapanesePod101 hiragana and katakana videos on the YT instead and it was a-MA-zing! It’s just a whole another level if you’re a visual learner since they try to teach you with mnemonics and tricks. Maybe you can get back to this book afterwards to practice your handwriting, because it has those special little squares to write inside that some nerds -who? Me?! Naaaah! :-"- might enjoy.

Now time to learn some kanji and I’m scared as hell!
