What is Mycomatrix • myco = fungus, matrix= origin or cellular grid - Our mushroom based extract employs a proprietary triple extraction process pioneered at Mushroom Mountain making it a potent water soluble neutraceutical food and a beverage supplement.

Why is Mycomatrix different? - Commercial extract producers have petitioned for the language in the Supplemental Facts on a tincture or extract label to confuse consumers by accepting the term “Mushroom” and “Mycelium” as synonymous, and effectively replacing it. This allows the extract producers to make their extract in less time without actually growing the mushrooms, unfortunately thus also eliminating from their extracts a large portion of beneficial substances that are available only in the mushroom fruit body.

Mycomatrix is an extraction process that uses whole organic mushroom fruit bodies that are allowed to mature and absorb valuable light waves which allow for the creation of biochemical properties within the mushroom fruit body. Mushroom mycelium extracts that are grown on grain in the absence of light, are chemically and qualitatively much different than extracts made with mature mushroom fruit bodies. Our natural process of extracting the whole fruit bodies in organic ethanol, hot water, and a third proprietary method ensures a more nutrient rich and potent extraction. Furthermore the absence of grain makes our extraction gluten free.
