It’s been 84 years and one million royal dramas (Spare, anyone?), but The Crown is officially returning to Netflix for its sixth and final season on November 16. And while the story will largely focus on Queen Elizabeth II’s reign in the the late 1990s and early 2000s— as well as the final years of Princess Diana’s life—we’ll be seeing some new faces. Namely, Prince William and Kate Middleton during their college years. And in case you haven’t already seen the press pics Netflix released, the actor playing Princess Kate looks....pretty much exactly like her.

So what do we know about 19-year-old Meg Bellamy? Behold: a quick deep-dive on the newest TV royal to grace The Crown.

This Is Meg's First Major Acting Job

According to the Daily Mail, Meg was "plucked from obscurity" to play Kate Middleton, so that's why you haven't seen her before. In case you were wondering!

She Landed the Role After Seeing It Advertised on Social Media

Meaning there is still hope for you to get cast in your favorite movie or TV show. (HIRE ME, STRANGER THINGS.)

Per The Telegraph, Meg simply submitted a self-taped audition and blew producers away so much that they went ahead and cast her.

She announced the news in her first public post on Instagram (gonna assume she did a total grid relaunch pre-spotlight), writing, "Pinch me please..So excited to announce that I will be playing Kate Middleton in Series 6 of Netflix’s ‘The Crown’. It is such an honour to be joining the most incredible cast and crew, and I will strive to do Kate justice. ❤️👑"

She also wrote a sweet follow-up post saying, "Thank you so much everyone, for your kind messages of support and encouragement. I appreciate every single one. These past few days have been a whirlwind, and I am just so excited and grateful to be beginning this dream of a journey. 💗"

She Grew Up Near Kate and Studied Drama

The Daily Mail reports Meg grew up 22 miles away from Berkshire, where Kate spent her childhood.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph dropped the detail that Meg is known to her friends and family as "Meg Smith" and was Head Girl at her school—where she studied drama and was given the “opportunity to learn about a wide range of plays, styles and practitioners.”

She's Become a Total Fashion Girl

I mean, it was inevitable that the moment Meg was cast as Kate she'd be invited to pretty much every event, and she's out here thriving.

She's Into Wellness

At least according to a casual interview Meg gave while aboard a Dior cruise, telling Wonderland, "Wellness has become increasingly important to me in recent years–I think there’s been a real surge of interest in the wellness world, and now more than ever I love to geek out about nutrition."

Someone send her some POOSH gummies!

She Used to Work as a Legoland Performer

This nugget of info was casually thrown into a Telegraph article, do with it what you will.

ANYWAY! While we’re here, quick reminder re: how William and Kate got to know each other. While they technically met before college, everything changed when Wills saw Kate walk down THAT fashion show runway in THAT sheer dress. Like, apparently he turned to a friend named Fergus (iconic) and mused, “Wow, Fergus, Kate’s hot!”

A source even told royal reporter Katie Nicholl that “He actually told her she was a knockout that night, which caused her to blush. There was definitely chemistry between them and Kate had really made an impression on William. And at one point when William seemed to lean in to kiss her, she pulled away. She didn’t want to give off the wrong impression or make it too easy on Will.”

The rest? Royal history that we're literally about to see play out on The Crown.
