The Kkwaenggwari, or small Gong, is one of the four percussion instruments in Samulnori, a modern form of Korean percussion music. Samulnori translates into "the play with four things" (sa = four; mul = object; nori = play). The other three percussion instruments used in Samulnori are Ching (large Gong), Changgo (hourglass drum) and Buk (barrel drum).
