Petrol station revenue is likely to soon be greater from food and convenience products than from fuel, according to one of the country’s biggest petrol station owners.

Dexus Convenience Retail Real Estate Investment Trust, which owns 11 petrol stations in metropolitan Perth along with several others in Queensland, says as the transition to electric vehicles gathers pace, fuel sales will decline but sales of consumer goods are likely to remain steady.
