With the final part of season 6 released, many Royal fans might be wondering what Kate Middleton thinks of The Crown portrayal of her.

Season 6 Part Two of The Crown premiered on December 14, 2023, after the first part premiered on November 16, 2023. The second part of the season largely focuses on the beginning of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship starting from meeting at St. Andrews University.

The Royal Family is notorious for not watching their own portrayals on The Crown. “They don’t pretend to be news. It’s fiction. But it’s loosely based on the truth. Of course, it’s not strictly accurate,” Prince Harry, who does watch the show, told James Corden during a 2021 appearance on The Late Show. “It gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that.”

He added, “I’m way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself. That is obviously fiction – take it how you will. But this is being reported on as fact because you’re supposedly news.”
