US Post Office

Post cards from Roswell need to get mailed and so I stopped here to get a bunch of postcard stamps. Easy and quick with a short queue that went fast.

There is a mail drop lane so that you don't have to get out of your car. It is one way as you loop around the post office. There is also street parking.

The people who work here should be ashamed to take $$ from the taxpayers! The mail delivery is the worst. And that is saying a lot, as mail delivery in general seems to be horrible in this country. Last month a piece of mail that should have been delivered miles away came to my house. I returned it to my box and put the flag up. It was picked up the next day. And redelivered a few days later. I put it back in the box, raised the flag, and crossed my fingers. Same scenario. Picked up, then redelivered a few days later. This went on and on and on. On the last time around, a bunch of other mail that should have been delivered to yet A THIRD ADDRESS was also delivered. We added notes to everything, crossed our fingers, and put everything back in our box with the flag up. That was about 2 weeks ago, and so far none of it has come back. Of course, in the meantime, we received mail for another (FOURTH) address!

This is shameful!!

I called the Brasher location to try to help figure out an issue with my mail. I had the absolute worst service I have ever experienced in my life. So I went in to the Pennsylvania location. Dorothy went out of her way to help me resolve the issue and to find a solution. She was amazing and I can't say enough about it.

Post Offices are great! This shows that Roswell is a significant enough town to have a government post. Not all towns out here have post offices.
