Even if you’ve never used a permanent nail pen before, I guarantee you’ve seen some on Pinterest or in a beauty product. The idea is simple: a brand new polish pen is put in a pencil like shape, and then the tip is tipped in the color of your choice. Not only does it make getting a manicure that much easier (and less of a hassle to get rid of at the end of the day!), but it also adds an amazing pop of color to your nails. It’s incredibly effective, but unfortunately a few caveats can happen if you want your manicure to last as long as possible.
So to get you in the groove with the artistry that can easily be done for only about $10, I’m taking you back to winter 2009 and the nail art the Palette of Nails set that I got as a stocking stuffer. We all know that blue is a favorite shade of mine for nail polish (I have them all over my nails right now), but I never knew you could have your own little bit of blue wherever you wanted with a tacky-tacky, blue tip nail pen (there are all kinds!) in your favorite polish. And you didn’t need a color scheme (just two colors of your choice from my palette), and the next day you’re done with that particular manicure!
