This Mercedes-Benz R230 SL got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was first delivered to Walter’s Auto Sales and Service in Riverside, California, and it remained in the care of its original owner until earlier this year. It has 25k miles following registration history in Texas. Finished in Orion Blue Metallic over Ash leather, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, xenon headlights, 18″ Avior wheels, Parktronic, Keyless Go, heated and ventilated seats, a Bose sound system, and COMAND with navigation. This R230 is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, owner’s manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The car is finished in Orion Blue Metallic (345) and is equipped with a power-folding convertible hardtop, xenon headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and fender air vents.
The 18″ Avior wheels are mounted with in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. Gouges on the sidewalls are evident on the driver-side tires. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR).

The wood- and leather-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in July 2022, and the oil was changed in March 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Walter’s Auto Sales and Service in Riverside, California, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total retail price of $97,680.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
